Here are 6 Expensive Mistakes Most Students Of Higher Institution Make
1. Many people see entrance into higher institution as a way of gaining freedom from home, that is the more reason why a lot of students come to school and start living a life totally opposite of who they really are at home.
2. Procrastination: The sad news here is that almost everybody in one way or the other is a victim of this. You procrastinate copying of notes, doing assignment and even studying for exams. A successful student is one who knows the importance of Time Management.
3. Stop believing that one must finish school before getting established in a business or handwork. They will surely tell you to go to school first, but remember this is Nigeria. There is no guarantee of job after school. Unless you want to pack down to your father's house after graduation and face whatever life has to offer you.
4. It is not every campus relationship that ends in school. The truth is that you stand a higher chance of getting a life partner while still in school than when you leave school, but the problem is that many people get carried away by material things, get into multiple partners at the same time, and even see it all as having fun.
5. Buying of textbooks, notebooks and paying school levies are all good, but my dear make sure you reserve money for feeding. It may sound funny but remember say "nah person wey dey alive and healthy dey read book". And never ignore even the slightest sign/symptom of any illness you feel.
6. And lastly, if you can afford to pay your house rent alone, avoid roommate wahala and stay alone. You can ask those who have the experience.
Always remember to put God first in all you do, and may His Grace see us through this journey.
